To freshen breath, any mouthwash will temporarily freshen your breath. If you have recurring cavities a fluoride containing mouthwash will work for you. If you are fighting plaque and gingivitis, then look for a mouth rinse with cetylpyridinium chloride or essential oils. Finally, if you have dry mouth, then get professional advice and do avoid mouth rinses which contain alcohol.
